[AL:LIF]There are going to be no shops in Life is Feudal when the MMO portion of the game goes live. This is even true of player-run shops; players are expected instead to designate certain areas as trading posts, with all items created and sold by players rather than NPCs. It’s one of the many nuggets from the newest video released by the development team, which also discusses guild mechanics at launch and in the future of the MMO.

If you’re more concerned with technical progress than promises of future features, the video also features a look at the team’s most recent technical advancements. Work is continuing on siege mechanics and throwing weapons, and the art team has been working on new character models and GUIs. You can watch the full video below; the single-player version of the game is currently out, with the MMO beta projected to release toward the end of the year.
